Accessibility
This statement applies to couchletics.com, including the shop, The Slate and checkout.
Our commitment
Couchletics wants everyone to be able to shop, check scores and get on the couch. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What you can do on the site
- Use every menu, filter, picker and the cart with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are.
- Use a screen reader: form fields, buttons and icons have names, product photos have descriptions, the cart button says how many items it holds, and messages like the Roster sign-up are announced.
- Turn on “reduce motion” in your device settings: animations stop, and the score ticker sits still.
- Zoom in or use a small screen: the layout reflows to fit.
- Read text designed to stand out clearly against its background.
Conformance status
Partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA: most of the site meets the standard, and we know of a few places that don’t yet. We test as we build, with keyboard-only use, screen reader labels and reduced motion, and check every kind of page (shop, product pages, the cart, Find Your Order, The Slate and these policies) on desktop and phone with axe, an automated WCAG 2.2 AA checker. The last check, on October 13, 2026, found no failures. We haven’t had an outside audit.
Known limitations
- Many product photos come from our production partner, and some descriptions are shorter than we’d like.
- The scrolling score ticker and The Slate update while you’re reading during live games. The ticker pauses when you hover over it or tab into it, and stops entirely with reduced motion.
- Checkout happens on Stripe’s secure page, which Stripe designs and maintains.
We’re working through these as part of an ongoing plan to improve accessibility.
Feedback
If anything on the site gets in your way, or you need information in another format, email info@couchletics.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and we’ll reply within 1–2 business days and help you place your order another way if you need to.
