Our Story

Every team has an athletic department. Couchletics is the one for the rest of us: the fans who know every rule, never miss a kickoff and do their best work from the couch. We call it the Athletic Department of Rest, and we opened its doors in 2026 to give game day loungewear the respect it deserves.

How Couchletics started

It started on a long Saturday with a simple question: why does the gear for watching the game look nothing like the game? Jerseys are made for the stadium. Old sweats are made for the laundry pile. Nothing was made for the place most fans actually watch football, which is the living room.

So we built a program for it. Varsity letters, crests, numbers and seals, the look of a real athletic department, on oversized hoodies and crewnecks, fleece sweats, heavyweight tees, hats and sherpa blankets made for the long sit. Our motto fits on a jersey: Suit up. Lie down.

Designed in the USA, made to order

Every Couchletics design comes from the Athletic Department of Rest here in the USA. We don’t fill warehouses with stock that might never sell. Each piece is printed or embroidered after you order it, on blanks from makers we trust like Bella + Canvas, Comfort Colors, Lane Seven, AS Colour and Independent Trading Co., then shipped straight to your door. Nothing gets made that nobody ordered.

The Slate: our game day scoreboard

A department needs a schedule. The Slate is ours: every NFL and college football game, FBS to Division III, with kickoff times in your time zone, where to watch and what to wear for each window. It’s free, and it’s the first thing we check on game day.

Who’s on the bench

Couchletics is for the fan with a lucky spot on the sofa (no portion of which may be reproduced, duplicated or sat on without their express permission), the one who sets alarms for West Coast kickoffs, and the one who falls asleep in the fourth quarter and swears they saw the ending. If that’s you, you’re already on the team.
